To combat the short supply of soldiers, the government developed a virus to re-animate dead soldiers for "recycling" during battle. However, the virus has broken containment and an infected marine ends up in an alley outside a strip club named Rhino. Soon enough, all Hell breaks loose, resulting in a bunch of, yes, you've guessed it, Zombie Stri...more

Crowned Review Zombie Strippers (DVD): "Zombie Strippers!" (2007) (662 words)

Just when you thought movie titles couldn't get any sillier, along comes "Zombie Strippers!", a film that does just what it says on the tin and then boasts about it. "They'll dance for a fee, but devour you for free!" In the near future, under its fourth Bush administration, America is embroiled in a number of wars across the globe, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, France and Alaska, and to continue its policing of the world the US requires a new type of soldier, a new breed of loyal marine who when shot down will just get back up again and continue fighting. In a top secret military lab, a bunch of scientists might ...  Read the complete review

Grindhouse throwbacks are a dime a dozen these days, and they're often very contrived and self conscious efforts that seem very smarmy and even a little pretentious. Zombie Strippers is a middle of the road film that's got some good chuckles and sight gags, but isn't exactly a Grindhouse throwback laugh riot either. Zombie Strippers begins with a news montage set in a dystopic near-future where George Bush has been elected to a ridiculous fourth term, and has disbanded the United States Congress, banned public nudity nation-wide, and is in numerous wars with numerous different countries. To combat the short supply of soldiers, the government developed a virus ...  Read the complete review

As a fan of all things zombie, the bad or the good I have to say this is so bad it's good! The entire premise of reanimated corpses being the star attraction of a strip club is hilarious in itself, add in the comedy/horror actor Robert Englund and you have a laugh a minute gore fest B movie at its best. OK if it was not intended to be funny then it fails as a film, but who believes that? To cast porn stars as your leading actors leads me to believe that the acting skills were not essential and your target audience are us cheese lovers out here. The basic synopsis is the old zombie classic of a virus gets loose and people start getting ...  Read the complete review

Do you remember those low budget movies from years back that seemed so good at the time and now you find them transferred to DVD and think 'oh my i remember watching that it was so scary and the graphics were great!' then you take it home pop into into you DVD player and switch it on... and its not as great as you thought... yep thats this film then, its completely unrealistic as far as zombie movies go and makes no sense at all, theres no real graphics in it at all and the acting is as terrible as though a porn star were starring... which she is. but although i must admit its like a amateur porn version of the evil dead it is ...  Read the complete review

Well i hate to agree with the other guys. I had this film reccommended by a friend, who seems to think it is amazing! I do like cheesy B type movies in general, and you expect the special effects to suck, and the acting to be bad and that is just part of the fun, they are so bad that they are good! In this case i think the film is just bad! The story jumped around quite a bit, and the storyline was awful. I would not say it was so bad that i wished for the time back but it is not in my top ten list of cheesy films. If you happen to be a jenna jameson fan i suppose you will ignore the advice given and watch/buy it anyway. Which for under £5 i cannot really be ...  Read the complete review
