Adobe Premiere Pro CS3

It was my first semester at university and I had to make a short film for my assignment. I had never edited before nor had any teaching with editing software and as time was running out I turned to Premiere. adobe premiere pro is simply the best program available if you want to edit video footage at home. It can be purchased on its own or as part of the adobe creative suite.... although with a four figure price tag you need to make sure you are going to use it! The software features a recommended minimum of 1gig of RAM to run, and i back this up. i orignally run on 512 MB and it just couldn't cope. it goes well beyond the capabilities of windows movie maker, and allows for non linear editing - so that you don't have to put everything on the timeline in sequential order, allowing for far easier editing and more freedom to more things about. the amount of ...  Read the complete review

i think that adobe premiere pro cs3 is like any other scam. due to its high price you have high expectations and it is disapionitng. however between windows movie maker and adobe premiere pro cs3 i think that adobe premiere pro cs3 would be better by the skin of its teeth for one reason and one reason only and that reason is there are 50% more slide transition effects wich must have taken at most one whole day to add wich when we are talking about adobe is very dissapionting. i think you would be a fool to download or by it only if you are series about using adobe premiere pro cs3 and will make something awsome out of it (it not all bad it is actually quite ...  Read the complete review

Adobe Premiere Pro disappointed me. I was expecting something like Adobe After Effects, with the same editing tools, and features. this was not the case. The interface through which you control Premiere is frankly, slow. Clicking through menus take 20 seconds plus to load, and often some menu just "blank out" (They disappear. ) This is annoying, and severely hampers use of this program. You load images into the program, or even whole folders of images (Bad Idea!), and then drag them onto a timeline, with several different transitions. And that's it.
