Advantages: Apparently you can create high quality slideshows.

Disadvantages: If you can get past the slowness, bugs, and clunky interrface.

Adobe Premiere Pro disappointed me. I was expecting something like Adobe After Effects, with the same editing tools, and features. this was not the case.
The interface through which you control Premiere is frankly, slow. Clicking through menus take 20 seconds plus to load, and often some menu just "blank out" (They disappear. )
This is annoying, and severely hampers use of this program.
You load images into the program, or even whole folders of images (Bad Idea!), and then drag them onto a timeline, with several different transitions. And that's it. That's what your paying 441.39GBP for.
Importing images, even one at a time, takes a while, and the program appears to freeze up when loading a whole folder.
I was running this program on a high spec computer (2048MB ram, 3.2GHz processor) So there is no excuse for this overall slowness.
In conclusion, i actually hate this program. It's bad at what it does, and needs a lot of improvement. Don't buy!

Summary: Don't buy this program, your better off with PowerPoint.
