Garageband is an excellent application for the Apple Mac where you can create your very own music using a vast range of options. There are many different instruments that you can use to create your music manually, from the flute to the electric piano and guitar. By using the keyboard window that pops up, you can press the keys and actually create your own tunes. You can link up a keyboard to the computer and play a song on it, which will go straight to Garageband.

As well as adding your own music, you can use speech too. Most Macs have a built in microphone, which comes in handy with Garageband. You can sing, speak or do whatever into the mic whilst recording 'vocals' and you can them embed this into your music. Thanks to this feature, you can use garageband to record podcasts and many more things with the ability to create introduction music. With your Mac, you can transfer your song right onto a movie with the iMovie application.

On top of all this, there are hundreds of pre-made clips on Garageband. These include drum beats as well as short pieces of music on a range of different instruments. You can simply add these to your music and make a song out of them. The possibilities on Garageband are easy and best of all - it's extremely easy to use. For you music lovers, Garageband is the best application you could have.

For anyone who is into media and likes to create movies/music, I would highly recommend getting a Mac so you can enjoy applications such as Garageband, iTunes and iMovie, which all work very well together.
