Advantages: Great sounding samples to fit all of your genre needs!

Disadvantages: Obviosuly being samples they are occasionaly restrictive but only when really pushed!

Not heard of the composer Hans Zimmer? well i bet even if you havent youll have heard at least one of his hit movie tracks! Anything from Gladiator to Madagascar to Mission Impossible III ! He is without doubt in the the top five world movie composers right now!

When Hans is writing music for the next hit movie, he does not resort to simply using pre-recorded software samples which sound perhaps a little like the instrument trying to be emulated, Hans has his own personal sound libraries of everything from orchestra strings to guitars.....and this is where this cd comes in.......

Hans commission sound designer Bob Daspit to head off to a studio and record a big library for him from which he could compose with, everything from simple struck notes to guitar body noise and much more, all laid out so that they could be directly imported into a sampler and used straight away on demand.

And now we lucky music makers of the world are lucky enough to be able to purchase them ourselves! As they designed for, the samples were easily imported into my setup and within a very short period of time i was using them in my own compositions!

So many samples were recorded that the 'Hans Zimmer Guitar samples' were split into two volumes, this being the second, together they hold most guitar sounds you could think of, clean electric, distorted electric, string acoustics, 12 string and more! the list could go on for a while! every note of each type has been sampled to perfection making it ready for effective use within any given project!

Of course as these samples are generally played through a software sampler, effects can then be layered on top to make them fit even more with your given project! Why waste time paying for an artist coming in and playing guitar for you when you can do it yourself in a professional manner from your keyboard yourself!

Every hit of Zimmers that you hear today that feature acoustic guitars will have no doubt had the powers of these samples behind them in the early stages.....

To really finalise this product..........if their used by people who are in the top of their profession, they have got to be worth a sniff right?

More then reasonable price for what is a world class product!
