Advantages: Easy to user, cheapish and many features

Pinnacle Studio Ultimate increases its appeal by adding high definition Blu ray Disc support at one end of the market and flash video direct-to-youtube support at the other.

The first Blu ray disc that I made wouldn't run on my older Blu ray player, but I changed a few of the settings related to authoring the disc and it worked perfectly and was really good quality.

The new version of Pinnacle Studio has a feature called "Montage", which gives you over 100 different themes and templates that you can use to quickly and easily edit video. These include effects such as moving frames with video, animated text and graphics. These new features are very snazzy but some don't allow you to customize them at all.

Studio Ultimate has more features than any other consumer level video editor. If you need an easy to use program to work with almost any footage then look no further, it worked perfectly for me.
