Post-it Software Notes Lite ... functionality. Post-it Software Notes Lite is made by the company that manufactures the paper pads of sticky notes, so it's no surprise that this program mimics its real-world counterpart. For example, if you want to add a new note to your desktop, simply hover over the app's system tray and drag your mouse to peel one off (complete with the appropriate sound). You can change the font size and color of any note's text, but you can't alter the actual color of the note from the classic yellow. Post-it Software Notes Lite also lacks features for reminding you with pop-up or audio notifications. If you just want the virtual equivalent of a pad of sticky notes, Post-it Software Notes Lite delivers, although power users likely will crave a full-blown reminder application.

Once the program has downloaded, you can make adjustments to suit yourself, changing the sounds of the program, or even adding voice, although I prefer the simplicity of the sounds that are already loaded into the system. 3M are clever people. They developed the Post-It notes that people cottoned onto, and these useful notes can be stuck anywhere as a reminder to the user of something they need to do. Canary yellow is the traditional colour of these notes which stick with a very non invasive pasted strip, and then when the task that you have reminded yourself of is accomplished, they tear up and throw away. I have been using them for years.
