... Nothing new you exclaim. But once you are a valued customer the price really drops. I got this package for a song. Two books, one with all the tutorials and an index of the elements included (directors guide). There are two disks, you only need the main program one to run the software, but it doesn't need to stay in the machine to run.

There seems to be three main types of video editing software programs. the highly technical free ones, or the very professional level expensive ones, or the very very basic cheap ones. Serif recognises this, it makes software for people who don't like to read instruction manuals and spend hours learning how to make things work. Then they give you instruction manuals.
