We switched over to Sky Broadband from Virgin Media several years ago and since then, we've had pretty much non stop problems. It started only a few months after we first got broadband from sky, the router would cut off my laptops wireless connection 15-20 times a day for about 2-3 minutes each time. So we purchased another modem/router from sky, and lo and behold the same problem has arisen again.

Note: It's not a fault with the laptop, its happened to every laptop or desktop pc we've owned and used with our sky broadband connection.

Their support technicians came across as barely educated, they seemed to be reading from a standard sheet of instructions when I called them, none of which solved the problem.

I would not recommend sky broadband to anyone wishing to obtain a reliable broadband connection. I can't wait to get a job, move out and get broadband from ANYONE but sky.
