Itunes is by far the best media player, online audio, music and video shop, and music player synchroniser! It is one of Apple's brilliant brainstorms and is totally freeeeeee, except if you want to buy one of the online products, but that is beside the point!

Comparing Itunes to Napster, Itunes is a media player as well as an audio and video online shop, whereas Napster is only an online music store, not a media player. A good point to napster is that you get a week's trial of free songs and you can cancel the trial and keep all your songs, and napster's songs work out cheaper than the Apple iStore, as it is a subscription. Apple's songs cost 79p whereas Napster's monthly fee is £9.95. Personally I prefer iTunes as you aren't subscribed to it and can just buy the songs as you wish.

Anyway, back onto iTunes. iTunes has a really good, easy to use interface, and is relatively simple so it is good even for younger or older people to use. It is a stylish program and works well, not skipping the songs and always playing at high quality.

iTunes tells you how much space each individual album takes up and how much time it will take to listen to the album, and it does the same for each playlist you have. In my entire iTunes library, I have 6.75GB, 1929 items and 136.2 days worth of music in my iTunes library. Wowee!!

My only little niggles are that it takes up a lot of ram on your computer when it is running, and it also uses a lot of memory on your computer.

iTunes is overall a fabulous program, 200% better than Windows Media Player and I think it's great. Try it out and you'll love it forever!
