Advantages: Easy to use, lots to buy and great pod casts to download

Disadvantages: What to do if your pc crashes?!

Itunes is a must for anyone with an ipod as it syncs it all for you and is very user friendly. You can buy songs for 79p (and some itunes plus at 99p) Tv Show episodes for around £1.70-90. Games come in at around £4 and a fairly new addition to what itunes has to offer is films to both buy and rent.

You also get free access to numerous pod casts both audio and video, this is easy to search for and if you subscribe it will automatically download new pod casts for you and sync them to your ipod next time it is connected.

You are also able to programme itunes to allow use of more than one ipod to your pc.

The only problem I had with itunes is one that still annoys me today, my computer crashed recently and I am awful at backing things up and my itunes library was no exception! I reinstalled itunes but when I searched for downloads of the songs I had already paid for on itunes, it said I was only able to download them once and there was no easy way to set my ipod up with itunes again.

It automatically updates itself and searches for updates every month or so

Summary: I like buying individual songs rather than whole albums and itunes allows this
