Windows Movie Maker is a video editing programme that comes with Windows XP and the like. To say it's free is wrong, but it can't help but feel it. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline narration and much more. This is a good little programme, with a range of interesting functions. Windows Movie Maker is a great piece of relatively simple software for video making novices. It is a video creation and editing program which comes with windows and is available on the likes of Windows XP and Vista as well as some of the earlier versions of Microsoft's operating systems. Windows Movie Maker is a terrible program for anyone seriously considering making a professional video. It is buggy and crashes a lot, even on good computers. However! It is quite a good free tool for the novice movie maker (as long as you save your work every 2 minutes in case it crashes!).
