Windows movie maker is an application which usually comes as standard with Windows Operating systems. It is, as the title states, a program which will allow you to make your own movies/slideshows out of either still pictures of even movies themselves. Different versions can be used on all Windows OSs, such as XP or Vista, and it mainly comes as a package on most PCs with Windows OS installed. But if it is not installed then the 7MB application can be downloaded for free from web sites such as www.download.com. ** WHAT IS IT THEN..? When you open the program you are met with an almost self explanatory screen, the 'top row' ... Read the complete review

Windows Movie Maker is a video editing programme that comes with Windows XP and the like. To say it's free is wrong, but it can't help but feel it. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline narration and much more. This is a good little programme, with a range of interesting functions. To be fair, it's not really a high end programme, but it does go beyond a lot of expensive editions of editing. One thing I really love about it is the way you can do split screens, so for example you can have a film with two of you interacting with eachother. However, it's not self explanatory how to do this, and a bit ... Read the complete review

"Windows Movie Maker" is a multimedia application which has been distributed with modern Microsoft Windows operating systems. It was first developed and released on Windows ME but was later phased out as of Windows Vista; being succeeded by the "Live" brand of Windows applications. As the application is released with Windows the system requirements to run it are identical to those required by the operating system. In the case of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Movie Maker would require the following specifications: Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended) At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is ... Windows Movie Maker is a great piece of relatively simple software for video making novices. It is a video creation and editing program which comes with windows and is available on the likes of Windows XP and Vista as well as some of the earlier versions of Microsoft's operating systems. If you are not familiar with Windows Movie Maker it is quite easy to get into and create some personal videos. To go to the program you will have to look for windows movie maker either in your start -programs or by doing a search. Once you have started the program you will be presented with a screen with tabs at the top including file, edit, view ,tools, clip, play ... Read the complete review

Windows Movie Maker is a terrible program for anyone seriously considering making a professional video. It is buggy and crashes a lot, even on good computers. However! It is quite a good free tool for the novice movie maker (as long as you save your work every 2 minutes in case it crashes!). It is a very easy program to use and actually has more feautres than first meets the eye. I'll go through the main features. Features -Allows you to merge video, images and audio. -Allows you to add "special effects" to video, images and audio. -Contains many different transitions, to allow you to change from clip ti clip ...
