Newest Review: ... gave us a decent view of the Intrepid, which is absolutely huge and 2: the queue didn't actually take that long to go down. Due to it all being refurbished recently, everything is still pretty shiny and new, which was nice. It would have been nice to have some sort of history on the exhibits or what exhibits were inside in the queue, but there was nothing to amuse yourselves while waiting, so be prepared if the queue goes slow to be bored. Tickets are priced at $19.50 for an adult and getting progressively cheaper for younger or older people. Active and retired military personnel get in free. The USS Intrepid is a retired US Navy Aircraft Carrier. It was retired in the early 70's after 26 years service and after a period of time, became the Air, Sea and Space Museum in New York City. It was taken away a couple of years ago for refurbishment, but is now back at Pier 86 on the Hudson River. To locate it is very easy. Where ever you are in Manhattan, walk to the Hudson River. If you are below 46th Street, then walk Uptown, if your above 46th Street, then walk Downtown. If you miss it, then I suggest a eye test is the order of the day for you.
