Advantages: Modern Architecture, Spectacular View
Disadvantages: Traffic Jam
This is a great place to visit. I used to work there, so my experience will be quite different than others.
The admission is free. It has several pavilions showing a variety of antique and modern artworks. It is a very well-equipped museum. It is good to plan a day's trip there.
The guide books are in many different languages.
It takes around 40 minutes to reach my working station from the entrance. It includes parking in the museum, taking the train, checking-in with the security and walking through a long tunnel to get to my spot.
There is a special parking space reserved for helicopter.
Automatic high-tech mountain train.
Wonderful docents. They will have the umbrellas ready to greet you by the moment you stepped out of the train at the top of the museum.
Spectacular view from the museum. You can also check the status of the traffic before you head out of the museum.
There are rows of lavendar growing along the walkway. It is such a pleasant walk in the spring breeze during sunset.
Every eating location is carefully designed so that each visitor has a good view.
Employees have discount on dining in restaurant and on purchasing in bookstore.
The cactus garden is beautiful. You can see all the different kinds of cactus. The weather and climate in California is ideal for this plant.
As for the maze garden, one has to walk through it in order to fully appreciated the beauty of it.
The artworks are very old, the buildings are too modern. It is ideal for showing contemporary art pieces. As for the roman sculptures and antique furniture, they seem to go better with the Malibu Getty. After all, I still love the Malibu Getty Museum better! Wish it will reopen soon!
Please give me a rating if you found my experience is useful for your information! Because I need your support to continue the writing career. Many many thanks! ^!^
