Museums & Art Galleries in Jerusalem:
... of the many educational and interesting places we visited in Israel this summer was the Israel Museum located in Jerusalem, not far from the parliament building. There are various buses that will stop at the museum, but it is a very popular spot for bus tours, so do be aware that if you are visiting independently, you would be advised to visit early. The current prices are 36 NIS per adult (around £6) and 18 NI... Read the full review: Israel Museum Jerusalem - a museum I actually liked! by karlsm93 |

And they invest in carpets the way other countries buy shares, gems or precious metals. In my own more modest and less wealthy way, I share their obsession if not their knowledge though I m much more in the lower-priced flat-weave realm of rugs and kelims rather than the up-market knotted carpets. ~ Me and my rug fetish ~ No matter where I go in the worl... Directly across the road from the Embassy building there s a memorial to the many Iranians killed by poisoned gas during the Iran-Iraq war. The text on the monument tells Germany that Iran will never forget that it was German companies who sold the weapons and... It is for people of all age groups regardless of profession. All the materials are provided all you eed to do is show up and let the experience tak you away! It is the one of its type in the region, I think in the Middle East! In addition to being the only urban DIY painting studio, it is also an art gallery and has exhibitions all year round showcasing works of local and international artists. The Jam Jar is located in St 17a Al Quoz, behind the Dubai Garden Center on the Sheikh Zayed rd. This area has now become the Hub of many Art Galleries....
