Advantages: Adventure, Free Chocolate, Interesting and Informative, Fun for all the family!

Disadvantages: None!

On a trip to Birmingham to see one of my favourite bands live (Type O Negative for those of you who are curious! :)), my friend and I decided to take a trip to Cadbury World as we had some coupons offering us a discounted entrance price and I'm a complete chocaholic so in my eyes a visit was a definite must!.

The gig was on the Friday night and we were staying in a hotel that night, so we decided to stop off at Cadbury World on the Saturday before we drove home to Ipswich. The factory is very well signposted so we managed to find it from our hotel with barely any trouble, the car park was also very large so we managed to find a place to park with great ease (I always get myself in a state wondering if there's going to be anywhere to park, so it was nice to be pleasantly suprised).

The actual factory is mostly self-guided, you walk at your own pace and there's lots of interesting information and activities to try out and play around with. Everything is very eye catching and well designed and it definitely kept my interest. I had great fun reading all the facts and trying out all the activities and fun things to do, it was like reverting back to being a kid :). Another plus point was that you got handed a free chocolate bar / cadbury product at literally every corner you turned! (and these free bars taste even more gorgeous than usual as they're fresh and haven't been sat on a shop shelf for months).

My favourite part of Cadbury World was the little ride, which took you around a little track with lots of different displays, I loved it :). I also really liked 'Essence', where you could create your own chocolate and toppings - I decided to just have a cup of melted chocolate which was delicious :D.

I really enjoyed Cadbury World and hope I can visit it again someday, it's a fantastic day out for families. Kids and adults alike will really enjoy themselves!.

Summary: A great day out that everyone will enjoy

I found the entrance confusing, and chaotic! My little niece wasn't to happy at having to wait around so long to get in.
