Advantages: Chocolate

Disadvantages: The day goes so quickly

Cadbury’s World in Birmingham, is a chocoholics dream, you start your tour being handed a bar of chocolate, then you walk through the history of the cocoa bean, which is very interesting, on this tour you get to taste the first chocolate drink which is very hot in a spicy way. There are allsorts of things for kids to do, including the Cadabra ride, which my kids thought was very exciting. The Cadbury’s parrot room is a really fun room for all ages, with lots of buttons to press and things to do.

Yet more chocolate to eat, as you enter the factory tour, wow the smell is bliss. On the factory tour you get to drink warm freshly made chocolate, wow just the way I like it.

On the Bournville Site there is a museum, which shows how the Bournville Village was created for its workers.

There’s a playground made out of pretend bars of chocolate.

The whole day was brilliant and we have been again since.

There is a factory shop where you can buy chocolate bars and lots of souvenir gifts

If you get peckish there is a large café/Restaurant on site too.

If you are into to strange cars, you can see all the crème egg cars parked in the car park, very strange looking, but fascinating.

Sounds heavenly ! I have often wondered whether it would be worth going to Cadbury World and now I know it is :-)
