A cheap day out in glasgow Museum of transport in the west end of glasgow is a free day out and fun for all the family , its just off great western road and across from the kelvingrove Art galleries and easy to get to buy bus or subway. There's everything to do with transport in glasgow through the decades and a must see it has trams and trains from decades ago all types of different cars from decades ago aswell its great for kids and adults alike there's an old style picture house showing a wee short film old style cobbled streets and shop fronts also a train station platform and old fire engines a couple from over the years there's old gypsy caravans you can see inside ... The tronsport museum is free of charge for entry, and can be tied together as a day out weith the Kelvingrove Art Gallery which is located just over the road. The transports museum is full of old style transportations devices and some up to date ones. There are large buses and old steam trains which you are able to go on and have a look about. There are two levels within the museum, the bootom level seems to be for the more land transportations and the bigger items. The second level is home to things like old fashioned bikes and boats.
