Advantages: Amazing exhibits, free entry

Disadvantages: Very long queues

When myself and my husband visited London last year, we had on our agenda to spend a morning at the Natural History Museum.. but ended up staying all day.
The museum is an amazing, massive building, with a huge queue outside. As the museum is free to get in (although a donation can be given) alot of people wish to visit so queues are long. But very much worth the wait.
When you get inside you are faced with a huge building, with amazing achitecture. Little monkeys are carved all around the walls and ceiling. Truly breath taking.
There are several areas to visit, such as Dinosaurs and animals, and also bugs. It is a lovely place to take children, but was equally as interesting and exciting for myself and my husband as two adults.
In short, i would suggest that a visit to London is not complete without a visit to the magnificant museum!

Summary: Amazing day out, no trip to London is complete without a visit here!
