Advantages: Interesting

Disadvantages: Unchanging

Went here last week with my 4 year old niece. The Odyssey is a good self contained venue for entertaining all ages with a cinema, omniplex, bars and restaurants etc.

W5 is an investigative centre spread out over several floors. Not just a playcentre it aims to educate in a practical way and inform. Displays are interactive and attempt to explain sound, light etc. Sounds a little worthy perhaps and I doubt if there's much reading of the explanatory panels when there's fun to be had.

W5's first floor was most suitable for my niece's age group and was full of activities for her to try. She enjoyed the baby tesco where you can go and do your weekly plastic fruit, veg and bread shop! Funny to see how impatient they all were at the checkout, rather like real life!

Been several times and the main dsiplays don't change, introducing something new in the main areas would be a good idea to have some variety. There is an exhibition area that does change, it's dinosaurs at the moment, slightly scary for wee ones though!

Summary: Well worth investigating
