Advantages: lots to see and has a victorian village

Disadvantages: long and may be hard for very elderly

I've been to York Museum many times and thats because I think outside of London its one of the best Museum I have ever been too. Its has such a collection of local items and has a great layout. I personally loved the collection or Iron Cooking ranges but thats just me !!
For Kids and adults a like it has it all, the Highlight of couse is the reconstructed victiorian Village with shops, sounds and volunteers wondering the street in costum. Even in for me I find this very interesting and invocitive.
The Museum is pretty big and in corporates the old city Jail that once held Dick Turpin, pretty creepy!. Once you have bought a ticket you can return free with in one year, which is nice. From what I can tell on Half term holidays they do plenty of activites for kids and familys. It has a big car pack outside and is close to the city centre. Plue also nearby there are some handy resturants too.

Summary: wonderful musuem on local history

You haven't really told me much about the museum or what you thought of it! Also, it would be better if you spell-checked your review so it's easier to read!
