... Sound is the original local radio station for Surrey and Hampshire. Now relegated to AM only with far fewer listeners than its competitors, County Sound tries hard to be a local radio station for the over 50 s. The problem is that it suffers immense competition from BBC Southern Counties Radio which is not only on FM, but has better presenters and a higher budget (more shows per day). It s a good station but one you feel you d end your days listening to in and old peoples home!...
