The facts: Galaxy North East attracts listeners age 15-34, it was initially established in 1999 and is part of a group which covers Manchester, Birmingham, Scotland, South Coast and Yorkshire. Galaxy is owned by Global Radio. Galaxy North East is based in Wallsend. The presenters: Networked presenters include: Sacha Brooks, Matt Spokes, James Barr, Adele Roberts, Sarah Main - of Ibiza / Pacha fame, Andi Durrant, David Dunne, Steve Sutherland, but it s the local presenters who make this show... 	Magic 105.4 FM ... is a radio station available across London on FM at a frequency of 105.4, as well as being available on digital, satellite & online. The station s musical focus is easy listening adult contemporary music. I particular like listening to it late in the evening where they have a show called Mellow Magic, which is just full of some great chillout songs, ideal for winding down at the end of the day. The show s flagship breakfast show is hosted by Neil Fox. He previously had a long skint at London s capital radio where he was better known as Dr. Fox, he also appeared on the judging panel for Pop Idol back in the day. 	Talk Sport ... is something I have no interest in, but even for people like me Talksport still holds some interest, because between 10pm at night and 6am each morning the station is given over to general talk radio. A few years ago the main talk show presenter was the ever-rebellious James Whale, with the excellent Ian Collins following on through the early hours, but after Whale was eventually sacked by the powers that be the show has struggled to find a suitable replacement presenter. Collins now regularly presents in Whale s own slot, and he is an intelligent, entertaining and wholly professional presenter who normally manages to make even the dullest topics seem interesting,...
