Beacon FM

Beacon Fm is my local radio station covering Shropshire, and the west midlands,there are two different networks one covering Shropshire- Telford, Shrewsbury and the surrounding area's, and one covering the west midlands- Birmingham, Coventry etc. I love having the radio on in the background in the morning, as it gives me up to date news, weather and showbiz gossip, plus get up and go songs to get everyones feet tapping. I also listen out for local traffic reports for when my partner heads out to work. Beacon has a range of music that appeals to all ages. They play from Norah Jones to Nirvana. Westlife to Wayne Wonder. Elvis to ..... Busted! The DJ's on there are great. The best one is Graham Torrington (Late Night Lurve) who does a problem chat show at night. He plays loves songs and asks people to ring in or email him. When I first started at Shrewsbury School, I wanted to find a good radio station like Red Dragon FM because i am very music-radio orientated and radio helps me to keep awake and to concentrate. AND i found it, but it wasnt as good as reddragon. Also, it has alot of the shows that RedDragon fm have. Which is brilliant. (by the way, dooyoo, you need to update all the pictures for stations on the capital network).
