Advantages: Big money prizes, Chris Tarrant is good in the mornings

Disadvantages: Too many adverts, nothing but chart music

Firstly Capital fm has far too many adverts. Chris Tarrant though is brilliant on the breakfast show (Monday Friday 6:30am-10am) Capital always have big money prizes up for grabs. Last week was the return of the birthday bonanza where Chris Tarrant calls out a date and if you born on that date you have to call in and answer three questions if you get all three correct you could scoop between £15,000 and £100,000. How are these big money prizes paid for you may ask? Not by premium rate calls but by adverts every 10 minutes. That is what lets down Capital. Capital also plays nothing but chart music, no specialist music that puts off many people.
