What a local radio station really should have been. CAT FM, now defunct, was the local radio station for Cheltenham and Tewkesbury (hence the clever name CAT) until 2002. With local news and weather, travel and music, as well as local presenters throughout the day, it was a station, Cheltenham could be proud of. Nowadays, the reincarnation of CAT FM, namely Star 107.5, is a poor, poor substitute. With automated playlists and pre-recorded shows throughout, the station lacks any real uniqueness to all the other Stars, Senses, Touch's, Hearts or whatever they call these rebranded stations now.
