...thats what i do every morning. One year on from him taking over the flagging Breakfast show slot from Sara Cox and Mr Moyles has raised the audience to 7.6m listeners, adding 280,000 in the 3rd quarter of 2005.

Anyway enough with stats. I'll tell you why The Chris Moyles Show is the best thing on the Radio bar none.

The Team
=======

Chris - The leading man. His near the knuckle style is the reason this is so big. He's not afraid to have a rant, he doesn't suffer fools and says what he thinks about any topic.

Comedy Dave - The long serving side-kick of Moylesy. Dave is a typical bloke, hasn;t a clue about women, wears Lynx deodorant, doesnt believe in spending more than a fiver on a hair-cut. Dave is Chris what Ernie Wise was to Eric Morecambe.

Rachael the producer - Rachael is the butt of many of Moyles jokes. Mostly for her brummie accent and constant dieting fads.

Aled - The teaboy, welsh, camp and a bit silly. Again the butt of many jokes from Chris and the rest of the team.

The Format
=======

The show runs between 6.55 and 10.00 AM and has a distinct feel to it. The film is a mix of music, chat and comedy features. Features include Car Park Catchphrase, a spin on the famous Catchphrase show with actually audios from Roy Walker. Tedious Link where Dave has to link from the featured song the day before to todays with a series of random facts. Normally to be ripped to pieces by Chris and the rest of the team for hist mistakes. Rob DJ's monday night pub quiz, where the team answer questions from the aforementioned quiz on a Tuesday morning usually with hilarious effects.

The team regularly head out on the road too, Southampton, Aberystwyth and the European Championships in Portugal have been some of the destinations.

The chat ranges from football to TV to anything in the news. The best of the chat generally centres around the exploits of comedy Dave or Aled though.

There a many friends of the show such as Davina McCall (who famously showed Chris her bum tattoo live on the radio) and they are regularly guests. Other guests have ranged from Will Smith to Peter Andre's dad.

If you like music then your not going to like this show a great deal but that is not what its about. The Radio One schedule has plenty of room for shows of the type. If you want to be woken open to a barrell laughs and get your day off with a smile then you love the show.
