Chris Moyles has had a pretty good run of it in the post of the hottest slot on radio, that being the weekday breakfast show on Radio 1. His show airsfive days a week from 6.30 until 10.00 and the show has meant that he has also managed to get a TV show although to be honest he certainly has a face (and body ) that is made for radio as he is not a pretty sight.

He has a northern accent as he hails from Leeds but the accent is not too broad, if it was I would not have been able to stand listening to him as it is not an accent I lile, I cannot stand to listen to Sara Cox for example.

At times his show can be really funny however the problem is he does like the sound of his own voice and sometimes he can prattle on for much too long wrogly assuming that everyone wants to hear about his celebrity lifestyle, I do wish he would play more music sometimes.

The strength of the show comes from the fact that he has a pretty good team with him on air, Dave is his sidekick and moderately funny while Rachael gets a lot of stick for her West Mids accent and Aled gets stick as he is openly gay and quite effiminate but he does not care at all. Finally there is Carrie who reads the sport and Dom who reads the news.

It can be quite entertaining at times but I do feel the slot needs freshening up a bit with a new DJ who can inject some fresh blood and life into the breakfast show.
