Advantages: Comedy Dave, Lively Banter, Laughs

Disadvantages: Weak Parodies, Too much music, Football Talk

Radio 1's demographic is to appeal to 18-34 year olds. Its demograph is not people over 35 and that is where many of Moyles detractors come from. Yes, its meaningless fluff, yes he likes to massage his ego, yes he plays the strange cartoon noises too much over the songs but you cant help but laugh. His show is 2 and 3/4 long for 5 days a week and whilst Jonathan Ross is better, Ross has the added advantage of a guaranteed 3 guests and he is only on once a week so he cant run out of material.
Moyles recycles his material granted, but so would any DJ. His new found love of football might agitate some people which is why he was at 27 in Worst Britons but would he be there id he was a thin person, doubt it. Britain is fattist.
