Advantages: Up to date travel

Disadvantages: Terrible DJing, Many adverts

If ever you wonder whether to tune into 102.6 Fox FM, think again, especially in the morning or evening during rush hour where there are several adverts between every song along with the chattering of the boring DJ's, in the end you only end up with just 3 or 4 songs every half hour- not good!!

However late at night or during midday the tunes start to improve and you can end up with some decent listening and more intelligent DJ's who know what they're talking about instead of trying to make jokes that aren't funny.

There's not much point me writing much more as there is not much that can be said about this station, although if you do happen to be listening then watch out for the flying fox- the travel reports that make the whole experience worthwhile!!!

I have a similar problem in the NW. A few years ago I listrened mainly to Rock FM, who were quite good. I have since discovered other stations such as 2Br and Century FM. Unfortunately the number of adverts on all these stations seems to have reached the point where I flick through each station and only hear adverts.
