Advantages: Local station- informative on local events

Disadvantages: Plays the same songs over and over

I`ve listened to GWR since i`ve been living in Swindon- over 10 years now. The presenters are funny and are good at what they do. However my biggest beef is the fact that they tend to play the same songs over and over- my biggest pet hate! They seem to love Will Young, that "i miss you like the dessert misses rain" song (i hate it), daniel powter "bad day" and Take That. I wouldn`t say that they play wide range of artists and genres. Mostly its pop with a bit of 80s throw in. Because of this i now listen to Brunel FM- Swindon's other radio station who have a "no repeat 9-5" policy. However GWR is good at promoting local events going on in Swindon. The news bulletin is hourly with detailed local and national news.

However until they stop playing the same, boring songs over and over i won`t be tuning in again.

Summary: GWR- not so good anymore
