... a particularly memorable set - I think I recorded a part of it on cassette, if I could only find it now.... Anyhow, I used to listen to Jive FM a long time ago, so I'm very pleased it's still around and I hope it's still as good now as I remember....more

I used to listen to this station in 1990/91 when I was a student at Huddersfield Poly, and I have fond memories (I taped a few mixes). At the time I liked the Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays plus the tail-end acid house stuff, which you could get now and again on Radio 1. But to me, Jive FM provided something different, the breaking of new stuff and as it was actually happening.
