Advantages: Great music, some funny presenters

Well I listen to Radio 1 all the time. As it's really the only radio show with no adverts, (apart from it's own) it's the only one I enjoy. There is a wide variety of music on there, and it really does give everyone a chance to find something they will enjoy.
These are the day time shows:

Chris Moyles: Chris does the breakfast show, I think he is fantastic. Although he can be a little vulgar at times overall I think he is a comic genious. I used to listen to him when he did afternoons and think he has improved with time. The team he has on there with him only make the show better, they always make me smile in the morning.

Joe Whiley: Joe is an institution. She has been on the channel for as long as I can remember. While she lacks the comedy skills of other presenters she really knows her music. The Live lounge's she does have to be the highlight of the show. She get some real big artists in and there have been some classic moments.

Edith Bowman: Edith does not quite do it for me. I just find her a little irritating. She plays good music but don't think she is quite up to standard, I would much rather have seen Sara Cox take this slot as I think she is far more entertaining.

Scott Mills: I didn't like him at first. But now I do. Some of the features on the show are brilliant and really do make me smile. He has no shame and makes sure everyone knows it! Again he plays pretty good music although all the daytime shows just tend to play stuff off the playlist.

Then at night there are a range of shows you can listen to. Shows that feature Hip Hop with Tim Westwood (who I really can't stand!) rock shows, new music, dance music something for everyone. Zane Low is one of the highlights in the evening, he brings in a lot of new music and picks up some real gems! Really worth a listen.

My personnal favorite is Colin Murray. He has had the 10pm show for a few years, however he is finishing as of next week. A real shame as the new music and alternative classics he plays are nothing short of stunning! Mixed with some genious comedy clips he finds around and some really weird music. This has been the best show I have ever heard on the radio and am sad to see it go.

Overall a really good radio station. Plenty on there for everyone to enjoy!
