Radio One is one of the biggest radio stations in the UK and my favourite show has to be the number one rap show presented by Tim Westwood. The show comes on every Saturday from 21.00-01.00. Although Tim Westwood recieves a lot of critism in the media he is no doubt the most well known rap DJ in the UK. Every Saturday from 9pm to 1am, Britain's answer to Eminem (a white boy acting black) hosts a Hip-Hop show. As a fan of hip-hop, I've listened to it occasionally, but I can't easily get past the most annoying man who hosts it. First up, the music is really good, offering all the top hip-hop joints around for your listening pleasure. There's always some Eminem, but I like the way Westwood pioneers the Brits such as Nolay, Chipmunk and the like. Because it's the main show for Hip Hop in the UK, he does get the big guests when ... Read the complete review

Every saturday night from 9pm - 1am, Tim Westwood brings his unique voice to radio one. Tim is a white wanabe gangsta. Hes very tall, seems to know everyone in the hip hop business, and always has great guests. He must be over 40 as hes going grey, but he dresses like a 20 year old american gang member. This week Goldfinger was a guest, and played an excellent mix for an hour, this made a big difference to the show as it didnt have westwood talking all over it. Tim likes to talk almost constantly, if he likes a track he will play loads of sound effects over it, like the sound of an explosion, a gun and his little catchy ... Read the complete review

Tim Westwood is a ledgend, man! He is SO cool, and every Friday and Saturday night, I sit upstairs and listen to his show for 2 hours... I'm a 14 year old girl and I think Westwood is the best thing about living in the UK. If your a Hip - Hop lover and an avid listerner you should be tuning into this show every week. Tim plays the latest Hip - Hop tracks, and equipts 'em all with really cool sound affects (e.g gun shots - explosions). Also, practically everyweek he hazza guest. Weather the guest is a big name US artist, such as ; Eminem, D12, Snoop Dogg (who kinda often appears on "Westwood Radio One"), Xzibit, 50 Cent, etc, or a upcoming, budding UK artist, ...
