If you want to listen to hip-hop/rap music on the radio in the UK you are only left with one real option, Westwood. His show does take a bit of getting used to, but once you do you won't be able to miss it.
He plays a wide variety of hip-hop/rap and even some R & B, from both the US and UK. This is the show that you need to listen to if you want to here the latest joints on the streets, before they will play them anywhere else.
There are regular guests from both the UK and US hip-hop and R&B scene, who Westwood always brings the best out of. There is the top ten at ten on a Saturday night which you can guarantee is filled with the best tracks around. There are also shows broadcast live from the US every month with great DJ's like Funk Master Flex.
There is only one disadvantage to the show ant that is its time on a Friday night 11pm -2am, Saturday nights is perfect 9pm -12 midnight.
