Advantages: funny on a morning, good range of music

Waking up to this station every weekday morning at 7.00, I now found it even harder to get up each morning. It is the Adam @ Breakfast show on at this time every morning (Monday - Fridays: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM, and Sunday - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM), on which the humour of Adam Catterall and Gemma Dee creates a good start to the day.

This radio station has been my preferred choice for as long as I can remember, playing a good range of music (not just rock) throughout the week. Most of that played revolves mainly around that week's top 40, although you do hear a lot of music being played which isn't in the charts.

The only main problem I have with this radio station is the amount of adverts broadcast, although is as expect with it being a regional station, it tends to be the same ones being played all the time; this can be useful however when trying to figure out what radio station you are on (as you recognise the adverts as they are played, as it is always the same ones).

Overall, I would certainly give this station a listen whether you're in the North West (97.4) or not (www.rockfm.co.uk where you can listen online).
