Wave 105 is broadcast from Park Gate which is between Southampton and Fareham. The following areas are covered by Wave:

- Hampshire
- Isle of Wight
- Dorset
- Wiltshire
- West Sussex

I have listened to Wave for many years now and have remained a loyal fan! My favourite has to be the breakfast show with Steve Power and his sidekick Selina Ross. Their witty banter wakes you up and puts a smile on your face even at 'stupid o clock' in the morning!

My main reason for being so loyal to Wave is their variety of music. Unlike many other radio stations Wave play music ranging from the 60's to the latest releases.

Between 9 and 10am you get the 'golden hour' with Mark Collins where all the songs played are from one year and listeners have to try and guess the year in order to win cinema tickets. This year is also varied so all ages are in with a chance of getting it right!

Wave always have great competitions. Their highest profile competition is where you can win an all expenses cruise for two people just by submitting your all time top five songs! I submitted mine and they got played but I didn't win the cruise :-( It was great though to hear my name mentioned on the radio, I felt like a star!

You always feel like a member of the family with Wave. If you e-mail one of the presenters you will get a personal e-mail back form them which is a nice touch.

The traffic info is also really handy on this show. The reporters get information from Highways and traffic cameras. Listeners also phone in reporting traffic problems so you also get all the local info, not just the major roads.

The only downside to this station is that there are quite a few adverts and they can get a bit repetitive after a while.

Overall I would recommend this show to anyone, tune in and give them a go!
