28 tracks of spacey psychedelic garage sounds from one band is pretty intense listening. The Litter though are not just any band, they are one of the earliest psychedelic bands around, formed in Minneapolis in 1966, they are less acessible than some of their contemporaries like The Standells, The Seeds or The Sonics who mostly focused on catchy garge rock songs and less easy listening than The Electric Prunes or The 13th Floor Elevators. The Litter essentially took a garage sound like that of their Minneapolis fore-runners The Trashmen, made some mental tracks with experimental sounds and occasionally fused it somewhere in between.
