Would you believe it, Bryan Adams has only gone and recorded his eleventh studio album! What to call it though, he's already had such top titles as 'Waking Up The Neighbours' and 'Cuts Like A Knife'. Seen as it's the eleventh of his career and all, how about simply titling it '11'? Ingenious. '11' fittingly contains eleven tracks, plus one as a bonus. According to the information I have to hand it was recorded largely in hotel rooms and backstage dressing rooms all around the world. Bryan Adams has been a massive influence in my music tastes and I usually always buy his latest albums as soon as I can. 11 is his latest offering and although I have found it to be an enjoyable album I certainly have songs that I favour over others on this album. As Adams voice is so distinctive he often seems to sound the same and therefore this follows through in to his songs. This happened on a fair few of the new tracks on this album, and while I still find them enjoyable to listen to, I have found it harder to take them on board as separate and new songs. Before I start let me say that I am a massive Bryan Adams fan, and so my opinion may be a little biased, but I found this album to be really, really good. Easy listening is a phrase that springs immediately to mind when I think of it. Its music that you listen too, and it just doesn't upset anyone. His voice is bewitching, and he sings his amazing lyrics with such heartfelt meaning and passion. Do I think this is his best album, no I dont, but it is a long way from his first. There are no tracks on it that I do not like, and when you consider that this is his 11th offering over 25 years I think its amazing that his music is so fresh. Its a real feel good album, and one ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of Bryan Adams, always have been and always will be,but to be honest this album just didnt do it for me,I mean it was Bryan Adams but in my opinion it is not the best album he has released. For me it is one of those inbetweeny albums. I dont really love it but i do enjoy listening to every so often -its his voice! This album was released in 2008, and contains 12 tracks, off these 12 my favourite songs are shes got a way and oxygen. I think that alot of the tracks on the album are not ones you will instantly like but are more that will grown on you after you have heard the a couple of times. Each song is not really that ...
