Advantages: All the big hits

Disadvantages: No rarities

Following on from the red album, which features The Beatles Hits from 1962 - 1966, the blue album features their biggest hits from 1967 - 1970.
As with the red album, this is excellent value for money, for around £10 you get two discs featuring 28 tracks and a booklet with photgraphs and song lyrics.
There's are some brilliant classic songs on this album, obviously a more grown up collection than the red album. Highlights include Lucy in the sky with Diamonds, A Day in the Life, The Long and Winding Road, Get Back and Here Comes The Sun.
These albums are a really great start to a Beatles collection, but they are my no means comprehensive. My personal Beatles favourtie is Helter Skelter (from The White Album) but it does not feature, but the Red and Blue album will keep me going until I've completed the full back catalogue.

Summary: A good selection of hits
