21st Century Breakdown (21st Century Breakdown - Green Day)
Member Name: jack_parkes
Advantages: Strong powerful riffs and lyrics Disadvantages: Short songs
It has been 5 years since the American punk band Green Day released their last album entitled American Idiot, which followed the life of one character who calls himself Saint Jimmy or the Jesus of Suburbia. Nearly 6 million copies had been sold and a worldwide sell out tour followed in 2005. 2009 saw a new turn for Green Day to come back with their new album 21st Century Breakdown. It was going to be the biggest thing they have ever done since the years of Dookie. The album itself is divided into three parts, Heroes and Cons, Charlatans and Saints and Horseshoes and Handgrenades. In American Idiot they had 2 songs over reaching the 9 minute mark where as in 21st Century Breakdown they only have 2 songs that over reach the 5 minute mark. The album focus mainly on sharp short riffs, Powerful lyrics and some kickass drum beats. Summary: Very good album, one of the best |
