TLC had an absolutely meteoric rise to fame in the mid and latter parts of the 90's, with hit after hit coming from their CrazySexyCool and Fanmail albums, which between them sold sold more than 25 million copies across the world. TLC have always had a rough ride in-between albums - filing for bankrupty and rumours of a split have dogged them in the past. But in the three years between Fanmail and their fourth and final album 3D, they lost member Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes when she was killed in a tragic car accident whilst on holiday in Honduras.
