Everything Is Borrowed - The Streets ... ve never quite understood the furore surrounding The Streets, the garage band from the UK whose vocalist Mike Skinner has an almost instantly recognisable voice due to the odd Brummy/London mixture have never really tickled my fancy. I find that Skinner s voice tends to be a bit too slow, rather than having a bit of a hip hop groove to it, it sounds like he sings every song at a spoken pace - almost as if he s based his whole career on the spoken section of Blur s "Parklife" song. In the past, the songs that I m familiar with always had a bit of a cheeky chappy outlook to them, most of them about drugs, drink or chasing girls, on Everything is Borrowed, the... Cooleyhighharmony - Boyz II Men ... is a very good album packed with 16 very good top of the class songs .The good thing being that those 16 songs from this album were sang by 4 very talented singers that have got very good voices and they put so much emotion into all their songs.The song that i like the most is end of the road this song is very good it brings back memories of the past and it touches my heart in every possible way ,they did a very good job on that song keep it up boys .To all those who have never had of boys to men this album is a good way to start , it is packed with very good songs that will blow you out and to all boys to men fans who do not have this album ,this is a must have albu... Walking On A Dream - Empire Of The Sun ... must say,apart from "we are the people" , the other songs are not so good. Having heard the lead song on a music channel was expecting to find some other brilliant tracks to go with it. Unfortunatly i was sadly disappointed. The few songs that are worth listening to, i always find myself skipping forward to the main song- we are the people. The music vidoe of we are the people is exceptional also. The problems with this album is that the songs don t seem to flow from one to another, which is a great shame as it does have huge potential. Maybe their next album would be better ?
