... this CD is a good place to start if you re interested in The Libertines, in actuality it appears to be a quickly put-together attempt by Rough Trade to make more money off a deceased band. Dig Out Your Soul - Oasis ... a few years now people have been slating Oasis saying that they have past it and can t make good music anymore... all i have to say is that is rubbish. If your after a Definitely Maybe or What s The Story Morning Glory, well this isn t it, but it is the best Oasis album since Morning Glory. Oasis have grown up and with them so has their music, out are the more pop tunes and in comes the pure rock n roll with thumping drum beats and heavy guitar playing. Noel isn t writing all the songs anymore which has given a more varied sound. The Cult Of Snap!: 1990 >> 2003 - Snap! ... were at the forefront of dance music in the nineties and remain to this day one of my preferred dance acts. Their music combines elements of trance, techno, pop and rap to great effect. Who are they? Frontman Turbo B might look scary and mad, but he is the driving force behind the group, he has worked with a variety of female singers over the years including Summer and Nikki Harris. Lead Sails Paper Anchor - Atreyu ... have been an atreyu fan since i bought there first album many years ago on a recomondation from a mate. I was very excited about them bringing out new material however i was sorely disappointed. This album has some good songs on it eg Falling Down, Becoming The Bull and Doomsday, but it doesnt seem to me like they made this album because they wanted to more that they had to, it sounds to forced. Usually i don t mind a band changing their musical direction eg Papa Roach but in this case they should ve listened to the " you can t fix something that aint broke" saying and stuck with the beautiful metalcore we all know and love.
