X&Y - Coldplay:
... are one of the worlds most well known bands and of late they have been in the news a lot with their song Viva la Vida being said to have copied from other songs. But that doesn t matter as this album is all about the music and it shows Coldplay before they started experimenting. A Rush Of Blood To The Head - Coldplay ... second album from indie boys Coldplay, this is the second album from them and the album that truly shot them to fame. There are 11 songs on this album. I prefer X & Y over this album but this album is great in its own right and features some of their greatest songs such as in my place, clocks and the scientist. My favourite songs off this album are: (2) In my place, such a great song and probably one of their most famous. I love the main riff. It s such a great song overall. (3) God put a smile upon your face, one of my other favourite songs off this album. It is a great song overall and all the instruments come together to produce a great sounding piece of mus... Black Ice - AC/DC ... who s back in black nonetheless, yep AC/DC one of the greatest rock bands ever with songs such as back in black, highway to hell and shook me all night long are back with another album, not content with their earnings from their 16 previous albums, their induction into the rock and roll hall of fame and their own rock band game they have recorded another album. This is classic AC/DC as is made painfully obviously by the opening song Rock and roll train. Yes they may be getting older but not any less full of passion for rock as the guitar work shows on this album. You get a lot of bang for your buck with 15 songs. Back In Black - AC/DC ... known around the world for being kings of rock, even with a few changes of members they still remain on top and producing great tunes. It was on this album that Brian Johnson took over as singer. One of my favourite albums ever. And it has some of my favourite ACDC tunes on it; I commend Angus and Malcolm for their truly great guitar work. My favourite tracks off this album are: (1) Hells Bells, what a great way to start the album, the bells ringing is eerie and sets the tone for the song very well.
