I feel really stupid for not coming across this album sooner. It's the third album from Aphrodite's Child, Greek prog band from the early seventies led by Vangelis just before he embarked on his turbulent solo career. As a heavily psychedelic and experimental double album based on the Book of Revelation, it was a radical departure from the band's previous pop offerings and one that Vangelis' band members apparently weren't as enthusiastic about pushing forward as he was. I tracked pretty much all of Vangelis' stuff down over the last four years but somehow never thought to check this until recently, and I have to proclaim it one of the most fascinating, crazy ...
