Santana '68 is a collection of the earliest known studio recordings of the group, coming before some other recordings which had been thought to be the first. This is truly a bootleg CD and includes work in progress versions of Jingo, Persuasion and Soul Sacrifice, songs which would go on to be some of the highlights of their debut CD, Santana. This though in truth is a collection of jams, of which the remaining tracks that were not intended for their debut release are covers of other songs.
