The W - Wu-Tang Clan

Rating:
I don't think it has left my cd player yet! It combines the raw flavour of new skool and the clean scratching of old skool 80's. And as if the Clan weren't good enough the album also features Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Junior Reid, Nas, Red Man and the legendary Isaac Hayes. My favourites are Protect ya neck (an old skool flavour), do ya really (quite funky), i cant go to sleep (really mellow powerfull lyrics) and of course Gravel pit (if u havent heard this yet i give up). Although all that f@ck u muthaf@ckin ho is good and fun, i also enjoyed this album coz the clan arent all about swearing. Of course the lyrics are agressive, powerfull and at times ...

Wu-Chronicles - Wu-Tang Clan

Also of note, is that we are not forced to suffer through any weak 2 minute skits. In addition, we are led on this tour by familiar members of the Wu . If not for heavy We-Tang inclusion this album could hit absolute rock bottom as some of the artists are not worth a good god damn. There are a couple tracks I want to talk about specifically as good tracks. One of them is "Three Amigos (If It's On)". This track features Meth, King, and Sic. I don't know who the hell Sic or King are, but they do a good job. The song has a nice cut from Method Man and the chorus is mad catchy. The other rapper (King, I'd guess) does a great job on the mic and they ...

Not tha Wu's Finest hour! (220 words)by - written on 07/09/01
Rating:
Watered down by a multitude of offspring, the once-storied Wu emblem doesn't hold the weight it once did. But Shaolin's finest developed a cult following that has remained. Hence, Wu-Chronicles: Chapter 11 is aimed at a highly specific audience. The not so convential compilation album, featuring previously published as well as unreleased material from Bobby Digital, Killah Priest, Method man and outsiders like Spice 1, Bounty Killer and D'angelo leaves you as dumbfounded as its 1999 predecessor. The re-released material, which failed to leave any significant impact, is just one of this compilation's shortcomings. The production from such RZA and Wu ...
