... vocals going through a weird processer thing making Billy Gibbons sound like a robot, a bit naff overall, but that s what the skip button is for!....it s certainly quirky!. Dust My Broom is an Elmore James Blues standard and ZZ Top make a good job of it, a fine throaty vocal from Billy Gibbons. Come Away With Me - Norah Jones ... Jones is a truly phenomenal singer, songwriter, and musician. i have seen her play some of the tracks from this album live, and the piano music is just gorgeous. In addition to this everyone can relate to the lyrics on this record. Just a brilliant album to stick on as a chillout record, or even when you feeling down, as the music is so inspiring. The title track is sublime, but my favourite is dont look away. this song has a more upbeat nature to it in places and you will just want to stick it on repeat! Cold Cold heart is also a track fairly near the top of my most played list. Its so good the worst part is the end. it annoys me when it ends i want it to carry on.... Let me start by saying that I am a massive Pink Floyd fan so I could either write a review giving this album high praise for being as good as the best Pink Floyd material or I could say what is David Gilmour doing?? this will tarnish his legacy. Deguello - ZZ Top ... is some classic zz top crusty rock!! if you like a good bit of gutterel blues rock then this is the album for you! it still has that familiar zz top beard rocking sound to it but with a slighty more muture feel.There is some great tracks on this album including "dust my broom" which makes you feel like you are sat on a porch with a cold beer somewhere in the deep south listen to a old man strum his steel guitar and tell you his woes. Then on the other hand you have a track like lay down in the street which is alot more up beat and great music for driving to on a summers day i might add! all in all this is a great album that does exactly what every good rock...
