... have bought several of these one hundred hits of the you know what series, mainly because they are great value for money and a lot of the songs are really worth having. There are a handful of ones that you might go hmm over but on the whole, the series is consistent and high in quality. Almighty: Ultimate Dance Party Vol. 2 ... Almighty series gives us this rather interesting chap, a forty nine track album bursting at the seams with camp and cheesy party music. There are some covers on here so approach with caution! The CDs have been blended into megamixes which means the tracks all flow into each other. On the first disc be sure to check out Hannah Jones doing You Only Have To Say You Love Me. Hannah is a stalwart of the dance scene and brings a soulful edge to the song, while the cheesy backing track lifts the mood. Next, head to Jackie O as she does a reasonable cover of West End s The Love I Lost. She doesn t quite have the range of Sybil, but manages to carve out a keen vocal perfo... Keep It Tidy Vol.1: 1995-1998 ... music is all about hard house. The harder the better is usually the view of Tidy. The sound was at its peak in the late nineties and turn of the century and while some clubs still bow down to the sound of their music, hard house is in shorter supply than it was back then. There are thirty songs on this album and we blast off with the somewhat epic What Ya Got 4 Me by Signum. Not as hard as some of the stuff coming up, this has a vocal in with a gritty edge and a feisty synth which calls to mind Felix s Don t You Want Me. A strong start and a hands in the air moment. Perfect Days: A Collection Of Euphoric Anthems ... front cover to this, a naked man on what looks like a beach cuddling a dog. Well whatever floats your boat. This is another one of Almighty s staple efforts, high energy dance music with a seal of camp approval. There are two discs and on the first disc we get twelve songs then on the second disc we get an eighteen track non stop megamix! The title song is Perfect Day is a cover of that well known charity record, performd by Indigo. All the unique vocals are zapped out of the song and replaced by a weak studio session singer who sounds so very bored as she sings of this perfect day.
